Donna (is donnio)'s Story
I am a photographer. My name is donnio (it is spelled with a lower case d) My business is under the name donnio1.com. I live in Vallejo California and am currently spending the majority of my time building my own business. I currently have 2 grandsons and, now, one granddaughter on the way. Photography became my business rather than my hobby after I broke my leg a few years ago and had to take a hiatus as a massage therapist. I became so "focused" on portraiture that I now rarely do body work, although I continue to do hands on healing as well as other energetic healing methods, but I consider that to be a calling rather than a career. 2008 and intend to invest more of my energy into the business of photography/portraiture. Life is a treasure and I savor it! In 1996 when my first grandson was born, I began living again(I had been chronically ill for 15 years at that point) and I sometimes try to make up for the "lost years" by working, playing, volunteering, creating, learning, and finding & meeting as many new and interesting people as possible, so I am now attempting a more difficult task: that of slowing down occasionally and just breathing.
I look forward to catching up with long lost class mates and learning what life has brought them. I'm working on a couple of photographic portrait books, so who knows, maybe I can add some of these high friends to my works.
